For more than three decades, Morrell & Cullen Home Improvement has proudly served Berkshire County homeowners with expert craftsmanship and dependable exterior solutions for their homes. Throughout our time in the industry, our commitment has always remained the same: deliver high-quality, long-lasting results that are both sustainable and affordable to the residents of our community. We specialize in the installation, maintenance and repair of asphalt shingle roofing and vinyl siding, but no matter the scope of work, every project we take on is backed by experience, integrity and a dedication to helping homeowners protect and enhance their homes.

We’re deeply rooted in our community and have extensive experience with the unique challenges faced by New England homes. From heavy snow and ice dams to intense sun, wind and rain, we understand the full range of environmental elements your home is up against—and we know exactly what it takes to keep it protected year-round. That's why we use industry-leading, time-tested products and techniques specifically designed to withstand the harsh and unpredictable weather patterns of our local climate.

So whether you're looking to create or maintain the home of your dreams, our passion for quality craftsmanship is here to help you protect, enhance and restore the beauty and integrity of your home!

Why We’re Different

At Morrell & Cullen Home Improvement, we don't use salespeople, middlemen or subcontracted crews. Every assessment, consultation and on-site decision is handled directly by a company owner — the same person who will be working alongside the crew and supervising your project from start to finish. This means the person you meet on day one is the person who performs, oversees and is fully accountable for the work on your home. We believe homeowners deserve honest guidance rooted in real trade experience, not scripted sales pitches from someone who won't be there when the work actually begins.

Your Project Is Our Reputation
Too often in this industry, jobs are sold by individuals who not only don't perform the work, but often have little knowledge of what the job truly entails — and once the contract is signed, you never see them again. With us, it's different. Your project is our reputation, and we treat it that way. By keeping everything in-house and owner-led, we eliminate miscommunication, false promises and the "pass-the-buck" culture that frustrates homeowners. Instead, you get transparent communication, skilled craftsmanship and genuine accountability from start to finish. When you hire us, you're not just getting a crew — you're getting the commitment and pride of our family-run company behind every detail.

When you hire us to work on your home, you aren't just a another name attached to a job, you become our customer - someone we make it a point to remember and prioritize. That's because we're in the business of creating and maintaining long-term, professional trusted relationships with our customers. We aren't a one-and-done, installation-only company who can't be bothered with smaller jobs or repairs. We take pride in being a full-service home improvement company so whether you're in need of a new installation, a small repair or ongoing maintenance, you can count on us to return your call and be there when you need us.

Our No Risk Approach to Home Improvement
We believe homeowners should feel safe and confident when hiring a contractor - not pressured into situations that require blind trust or risky upfront payments. We’ve designed our process to protect you from the very beginning. We’ll never ask you to make a payment before we even start working and we don’t rely on receiving a deposit to order the materials for a job. Instead, we cover the upfront costs and assume the potential risk so you don’t have to.

And while Massachusetts law grants homeowners a standard three-day cancellation window for most home improvement contracts, we choose to offer even more flexibility. If we haven't started your project yet, you're free to step back without fear of penalties, pressure or legal complications. We're here to serve you — not corner you. And earning your trust means far more to us than locking you into a contract.

The 3 R’s of Residential Home Improvement

Remodel

Thinking of altering the structural design or layout of your home? Whether you're planning to add a new room or expand an existing one, we'll be there every step of the way to help streamline the process and bring your vision to life. From drawing up plans to securing the necessary permits, we ensure your project remains fully compliant with local regulations and building codes — so you can focus on what matters most. We’re knowledeable in a broad range of specialized tasks, allowing you to skip the hassle of coordinating multiple tradespeople. We’ll keep your project on track, running smoothly and oversee every stage- from planning to completion- to guarantee a successful and satisfying outcome. And when unexpected issues arise during the remodeling process (as they sometimes do), you can have confidence knowing that we'll find practical solutions and ensure the project continues moving forward.

Restore

Your home is unique. It's a direct-reflection of the personalities, needs and cultural influences of those who've lived in it. Breathe life back into your home and preserve it's unique, originally-intended design with our restoration services. Preserving the integrity of your home has never been so easy. From expertly executed repairs to replacing aspects of your house with original products and materials, we'll help you return your house to it's original condition and restore it to it's classic, historically-intended architecture while ensuring industry-related guidelines are met. Furthermore, we're trained and certified by the Bureau of Environmental Health's CLPPP to perform low-risk deleading activities on projects requiring the safe handling, removal and disposal of lead paint; minimizing the risk of lead exposure to you and those you love.

Renovate

Want to update your space to appear more modern without altering the fundamental structure of your home? If so, a renovation might be the way to go! It's the least extensive of the three R's as it's considered to be more of a facelift rather than a total transformation. It can include anything from replacing floors and fixtures, to painting walls or even adding a patio; no job is too big or small and we'll be there from start to finish.
